Special interest areas

I provide counselling sessions to the people of varied age, gender and ethnic origin and deal with multiple mental health and social issues. Most of my work is based around domestic violence , family issues and cultural identity. .

Personal Statement

I book clients for initial assessment session and explain to them how I work. Do basic psychological assessments such as GAD 7 and PHQ9. I explore their expectations from therapy and answer their questions. I explain counselling contract to them and inform them that they need to sign a contract before starting a therapy session . Due to online working I send my contract via email but also verbally explain confidentiality and its limits and about data protection. I inform my clients about my fee and how they are going to pay me. I give choice to my clients how many sessions they want to book. I am very flexible with my clients and work on their own pace although I am trained to provide short term therapy sessions as well.
