Personal Statement
I am down to earth and have suffered from poor mental health and relationships issues myself. I empathise and offer a non-judgemental space, where you can be yourself and not feel ashamed. Together, using the therapeutic relationship as a model, I aim to help you self-reflect and give you some perspective on yourself and your emotions.
How does this work? Initially, I take some time to assess and work out with you what is and has happened to you. I help to stabilise, lessen your anxieties with practical ways to help calm you. I will give you my full attention to help identify and process your feelings, so that you’re able to respond and express them safely. Throughout therapy our relationship provides the essential, human connection needed to rebuild your trust in others. This support will begin to restore your self-belief and esteem and make positive changes.
