Special interest areas

I with both Adults and Young People using CBT to treat an array of difficulties on the spectrum of anxiety and depression. I have a keen interest on working with Panic, Phobias and self esteem difficulties, particularly in relation to neurodiversity (ASD/ADD/ADHD). I believe that people get the best from therapy when authentic, trustworthy collaboration occurs. To facilitate this I am empathetic, non judgemental and as transparent as possible about the process of therapy so that we can work side by side to reach the desired outcome..

Personal Statement

I consider myself to be a kind, authentic, empathetic and understanding therapist. I work using Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) to help with difficulties such as depression and anxiety. CBT is a NICE recommended, evidenced based therapy used in the NHS. I work on a 1:1 basis with clients; at the start I would gather information from you about what might be the main presenting problem. We would then consider together, what feeling better would look like for you, and how we could reach that together using an Evidence Based CBT framework. You are in control of your treatment as you are your own expert; I am here to guide you using my knowledge to get you where you want to be.
