Personal Statement

Person-centred therapy can help you to unravel mixed up emotions and feelings. The aim is for you to feel heard and understood and ultimately come to a better understanding and acceptance of yourself and your experiences. CBT focuses on proactively looking at your problem thinking patterns and behaviours, how they are negatively affecting your life and how we can challenge and change them. CBT can equip you with techniques to help yourself in daily life. The two can be successfully used alongside each other. I provide a safe, confidential space for clients to freely express themselves without judgement. I strive to achieve a respectful, equal relationship with clients. I believe a good relationship between client and counsellor and the right fit is vital for effective therapy. If you are struggling with any aspect of your life, counselling can help.
