Personal Statement

Welcome to my profile.
I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist (PGDip), a qualified Psychologist (MSc), with over 10 years therapeutic experience, over 20 years experience in community based services and a BACP registered therapist.
I offer a gentle, client centred, compassionate, trauma informed and science informed approach to therapy. I believe in everyone's inherent capacity and strengths to recover, heal and grow. My personal belief is that we all deserve second chances in life as well as being inherently worthy of finding joy and purpose.
My commitment to you is to offer you a high quality therapeutic service, in a safe, reliable, non-judgemental and transparent space, for the duration of time you choose to undertake therapy with me.
My special professional interests are post traumatic growth (childhood trauma, domestic abuse, bullying or other past traumatic experience), neuro-diversity (Autism and/or ADHD), and disability or living with chronic conditions.
I work with Autistic/ADHD people, who may have a formal diagnosis, are self-diagnosed, are suspecting or pursuing a diagnosis.
I strive to offer an inclusive practise for BIPOC clients, clients from ethnic, linguistic, religious and other minorities. I am an LGBTQ+ and gender aware therapist.
Please feel free to make an inquiry or book a free initial consultation.
Thank you for visiting my profile.
