Special interest areas

I am a Specialist ND Talk Therapy Practitioner. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. It is grounded in compassion, creativity and collaboration, aiming to support you in making sense of your experiences and fostering a sense of agency and autonomy. I have an MA in Art Psychotherapy and am trained in EMDR (adults). I may interweave a little Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) at times. I have a special interest and training in neurodiversity as well as my own lived experience. .

Personal Statement

My goal is to support you in making sense of your experiences and challenges while nurturing a sense of agency, autonomy, and self-understanding. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can work collaboratively, at your pace, and in ways that feel most accessible and effective for you.

I integrate Art Psychotherapy, EMDR, and ACT to support you in processing experiences, building autonomy, and exploring identity.

Art Psychotherapy offers a way to express and process emotions using imagery and materials—especially when words are hard to find. There is absolutely no need to be “good at art” or to do art making at all!

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): An evidence-based therapy that helps process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. EMDR can be integrated with Art Therapy for a holistic healing experience.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A mindfulness-based approach that encourages embracing thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them

Training and experience I have extensive experience working with clients across a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities. My clinical work includes co-facilitating therapeutic groups in the NHS for adults with complex mental health needs, as well as supporting children and families in schools and the voluntary sector alongside my work with ProblemShared.net. I have an MA in Art Psychotherapy as well as being trained in EMDR for adults, DBR Level 1, and basic ACT.  I undertake regular supervision, training and CPD with a special interest in neurodiversity and trauma.
