Personal Statement

Hello, I’m Jayne, a wellbeing psychologist working to the BACP’s code of ethics of which I am an accredited member. I enjoy drawing on both counselling and psychological approaches to tailor session to suit the individual needs of each and every client I work with. My underpinning is Person Centred Therapy (PCT) that I compliment with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis (TA) along with other approaches. In addition, I am a qualified Rewind Practitioner and Therapeutic Supervisor.

It is important for me to develop a mutually trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients as this is a crucial aspect that enable change, growth and empowerment to take place. I achieve this by offering a safe confidential space for people to relax and explore their thoughts and feelings.
