Personal Statement

I work in a psychodynamic way, which means that the I will understand that your early relationships will have had a profound impact on your, this will have shaped how you experience the world, other people and of course yourself. By holding this in mind as well as your current circumstances, concerns and relationships we can think through how these might be something you would like to become more aware of and freer with. When we meet I will take time for us to build a relationships of understanding and trust, I will be curious and ask questions, check my understanding and in time work out what you would like to change or make better sense of. I will listen, ask for your feedback and be consistent and dependable. We can check in together to see whether we are making the progress you want to and look at what might be both getting in the way but also supporting the progress.
